Designer DandiMaestre was born in Colombia, is a world traveler and now lives and designs jewelry out of Toronto, Canada. She finds inspiration in everything and looks at her pieces as works of art, gearing them toward the modern, sophisticated woman.
She is one of many designers (this season) participating in setting one of the hottest accessory trends: jewelry to compliment those beautiful wrists, i.e. cuffs, bangles, bracelets, etc. And the bigger the better.
Be gone pearls, beads and crystals and say hello to a more back-to-the-basics approach of natural elements. But these are far from basic. For example, her new collection incorporates polished coconuts, bull horns, Amazon seeds, raw amber and shed antlers to name a few materials.
